Job Descriptions: Gaelic singer, recording artist (“The Crooked Road and The Straight Road”, 2004; “Open Eyes, Open Mind”, 2007) Teacher Producer of both of the above-mentioned albums Gaelic songwriter Andrew McFayden has been a professional singer since 2003, singing in concerts in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. He has been singing publicly though since 2000 in various capacities. He has produced, arranged, written songs for, and released two albums of Scottish Gaelic songs, “An Rathad Cam ‘s An Rathad Direach (The Crooked Road and The Straight Road)” in 2004, and “Suilean Fosgailte, Fuasgladh Cinn (Open Eyes, Open Mind)” in 2007. He has taken part in and lent his talent to various community organizations and events over the years from the Prince George Gathering of the Clans, where he served as Gaelic Advisor and singer, to various Prince George community choirs, teaching Gaelic songs. Andrew is presently teaching Scottish Gaelic language and song in the Prince George school system as part of an exciting, brand-new course. Andrew also serves as the British Columbia Regional Director for the Atlantic Gaelic Academy. Andrew is available for singing engagements ranging from full concerts, concert appearances, workshops, weddings, ceremonies to informal gatherings. Feel free to enquire. Recent Events: 2007: P.G.
